After 15 years of spreading happiness by selling authentic Italian gelato in the UAE market, we wanted to create more than just a dessert experience—something that would linger with our customers long after the last scoop. We aimed to create a memory that could travel with them. That's how our newest campaign, "Smell Like Gelato," is born—a fragrance collection inspired by our beloved flavors, crafted to bring the magic of Divino into your home in a whole new way. Yes, it's real. Yes, it smells just like your favorite gelato. And yes, it's a gift from us to you.
The idea behind the "Smell like Gelato" campaign: "Smell Like Gelato" is not merely a campaign; it’s an invitation to experience the emotions our brand embodies. We aspired to offer our customers more than just gelato; we wanted to gift them a tangible connection to their memories—a vibrant reminder of their favorite Gelato Divino flavor. Dubai transcends the definition of a city; it is a beloved memory-maker for millions of people, and Gelato Divino has always been part of those treasured moments. We posed the question, "What if you could bring that memory home with you?" not just through photos or souvenirs, but through something as evocative as scent. Inspired by this thought, we set out to transform our most cherished flavors into exquisite fragrances, allowing you to carry a piece of your experience with you wherever you go. We started with 10 potential scent profiles, including our cult favorites like Vaniglia, Caramelo, Fragola, Cappuccino, and everyone's favorite Dubai-viral Chocolate. But, after extensive trials and feedback sessions, we narrowed it down to the final three: Unicorn—vibrant, playful, sweet. Pistachio—our top-selling, most premium flavour Spagnola—the hidden gem made with vanilla and smoked cherry. To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with Mr. Yusuf from Yusuf Bhai Perfumery, one of the most respected names in the UAE fragrance world. We shared detailed flavor profiles, sent gelato samples, and held numerous back-and-forth sessions with aroma testing, feedback loops, and reformulations. The Yusuf Bhai team showed incredible patience, precision, and creativity; what we have today is a masterpiece. Fast-forward 1.5 months, and we've seen hundreds of customers light up with joy upon receiving the limited edition perfume collection box. The response has been overwhelming, from kids holding it like a treasure to tourists taking selfies in our stores, and locals also appreciate the initiatives. Honestly, it wasn't easy. It took months of planning, experimenting, designing, and collaborating. But we made it happen with the proper support from our teams and partners. Today, people all over the globe carry a little bottle of Gelato Divino, and whenever they want, they can SMELL LIKE GELATO.
